I work for this guy in sales and well he is getting to be a real pain. he keeps asking me out and won't let up. his married and totally not getting the clue that i'm not interested. so does anyone have any ideas of how to get him to back off. i'm looking for a new job but till i find a new one i still need to keep this one, if you get my drift.

Tue, September 7, 2004 - 7:38 AMcreepy. i need time to think about this, i have to think back. if he's asking you repeatedly obviously he has no problems w/wanting you to do something you dont want to do. so straight up ASKING him to back off ??? i imagine him just sitting there w/a blank look on his face. then he'll subtly grow confused, making eye contact the entire time watching you watch him go through this metamorphosis. "i dont understand... did... did you think i was HITTING on you ???" i know i have some great advice here, but it was a three day weekend and my brain is toast right now. i wouldn't do anything until you know exactly what you're going to do..... -

LOL. but so far i'm beating him off with big sticks. i think the thing that is best working is that i told him that he was not my type. and i'm able to talk to a few other people that don't work here but know him so i have at least a few ears for me to talk to and they totally understand. but yeah i have been hiding around the showroom floor. hehe i feel like a mouse. -

Mon, September 13, 2004 - 3:30 PMThat's great about having people to talk to who know him. It doesn't sound like your job is in jeapordy.. it would still be super uncomfortable to have some married guy all looking at you all day. Knowing he's undressing you w/his eyes. It's such a yucky feeling!!
How did you find being an attractive woman in the military? And working as a mechanic to boot - something typically considered a man's job?
